Raphael Dreyfuss is a socialist and anti-imperialist organizer in the United States. Since 2014 he has been involved in several progressive movements for social justice, both domestic and international. Raised in the Conservative Jewish movement in Los Angeles, Dreyfuss developed a deep passion for his Jewish heritage, as well as a dissatisfaction with Zionism’s exploitation of Jewish trauma and identity. Dreyfuss is currently completing a History degree at Oberlin College, where he organizes for justice and equality in Israel/Palestine with Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP) and Students for a Free Palestine (SFP). In addition to his Palestine solidarity activism, Dreyfuss has also worked with the Student Labor Action Coalition (SLAC) in their joint effort with members of the college labor unions to switch to a worker self-managed campus dining system.
